Character Quotes

This was my reading work for today. The task was to choose a quote from a character of the book we were reading (which was The Abandoned Children of Wailing Wood) and write down what you thought the quote told you about the character. After that we wrote 3 traits of the character we chose and then made a picture (Mine was a bed). Afterward we had to blog about it which is what you're reading right now.

Well, I’m back. Surprised? Ha! You should be! I haven’t written a recount since my last holidays. On the first day of my Holidays I thought I would have the best time of my life but instead I got quite the opposite. Life without any Technology or Friends is a life I can’t live. Around the first week of my Holidays my internet had a break down after a huge lightning strike.

Luckily my friend from school (Roriki) backed me up and invited me to go to Uptown Bounce, a Trampoline park around his house. We had a few competitions to see who could bounce the highest or do the most tricks then left. Roriki’s mom (Leann) drove us to Subway for lunch and cookies as a treat. Afterwards we drove to their house and ate our sandwiches. I didn’t really like mine so I had to half with Leann. After my day at Roriki's house, it was his turn to come to mine. It wasn’t as cool because all we did was play Xbox and watch NCIS.

After a couple of days without internet, my sister finally got back from america with lollies and cheetos (really, REALLY spicy chips). As an attempt to fix our internet problem, we bought a new modem and a technician that will hopefully fix it by when I get back from school today! With my Sister came my one year old nephew that I thought im I would have had a blast with but instead got bite marks and wet clothes full of baby tears and saliva. He always fake cries when he doesn’t get what he wants, you can tell it’s fake because there’s obviously no tears that come down his face.

The last week of school and my Dad, Mom, Sister and I went to watch a movie at the New Lynn Mall. There was a variety of movies to choose from but being the picky child in the family, only one stood out. Ms Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children was the movie chose, I chose it because I love movies directed by Tim Burton and Michael Bay (that's why I love the transformers series.) The movie was really well made with all the kids and their peculiarities.

Overall the crying, yelling and arguing my holiday was just fine. My sister got back from America, I got to see my nephew for the first time, we got our internet back and school started so I could see all of my friends again. My holidays to me looked like a story. It started off bad but gradually made its way to the best 2 weeks of my year.

My Holidays weren’t as boring as my previous ones but it still wasn’t fun. Coming to thought…  I don’t think I ever left my house in the Holidays… Well there were a couple of occasions where I went out with my mom to go shopping for some milk (A.K.A 6 bags of things we don’t need) and I went for a couple of walks around my block with my Dad. Ooo ooo and this one not too long ago I went with my Mom, Dad and Sister to the Temple in Hamilton. That day was a bit unfortunate for my Dad because his Temple Recommend (a little card you need to enter the inside of the temple) was expired since May. That happened then we went to Pokeno on the way home to stop by for some ice cream, I got cheesecake and cookies and cream flavored ice cream. Geez i'm running out of ideas.. Uhh… So there was this one time I built a house? I’m gonna be honest, that actually was y entire holiday summarized.. Not the best holiday but eh, you take what you can get right?

24 Hour Footprint

I wasn't surprised to see how many times i've been on youtube because I know i've gone on it a lot of times. Every 24hrs I don't think I go on much different sites other than youtube, facebook and gmail. I don't think these would be be different on a weekday or weekend because everyday after school I go on facebook, gmail and youtube mostly to watch videos and talk to friends.

My Weekend

                                                         Weekends 9-5-16

In the weekends I stayed home along with my sister, mom and dad. I played on my Xbox360 and a lot of games on there that I’ve bought from game shops or just online but just never played. I hopped on minecraft just to see if all my data was still there. I had like sixteen worlds but there was just one world that had a whole bunch of buildings and structures. It had one of my first ever buildings, a wooden house with a stone fountain, plants and I think there was some sort of underground cafe.

Next I opened up Terraria and went on a world named ‘JJ’. I spawned in a house on top of a dungeon. I went inside of the dungeon with my dragon armor and some weapons. Not even five seconds and the Dungeon Guardian killed me. I thought the game was pointless so I kinda just broke the entire dungeon by throws grenades and mining all the blocks. I looked at the time and it was only five thirty I was soo bored and had nothing to do.

I moved on to my Ipad to watch some videos on youtube. I played a little of My Singing Monsters but there wasn’t much to do on it. I starting breeding my Bowgart and Mammoth to make an Entbrat. It takes twenty four hours for the entbrat egg to be bred and hatched. After I finished breeding and hatching the eggs I just started buying decorations and decorate my world. I bought a few decorations then next thing I knew I leveled up to level twelve.

It’s only about six and it’s extremely dark, I wanted to go outside to the backyard but my mom said it’s too dark to play outside. After I realised I had nothing to do I went back onto my xbox and opened up Virtua Fighter 5. This game is kinda like the Street Fighter series but with different moves, fighting rings, characters and some other stuff. I was on the campaign making my way up and up and up. I reached one of the hardest characters Goh Hinogami with my guy Lion Rafale. I’ve made it this far without losing any of my matches until then. Goh Hinogami beat me 1-3 and he ended my winning streak.  That’s my weekend wrapped up, it was eight o'clock and I had to go to sleep for the next day.

Once again, I’m back with yet another story about my weekend. Nothing has changed really it was just me, playing wizard101 on my computer with my xbox 360 on at the same time heh… Multitasking, it’s my thing. Why don’t I just talk about my wizard101 wizard, Wizard101 is a game i’ve been playing for a couple years. My pet (The FrankenBunny) finally reached adult level and finally has the “May cast Healing Current Spell” Buff. This Buff helps me a lot because I won’t need to waste my pips healing myself, my pet does that for me now :P. Actually… That summarises my entire day, just playing wizard101….  Yup…. My life is boring...

Fitness

Rooms 9, 3 and 8 usually have fitness everyday of the school week hosted either by Mr Walker, Mr Crowe, Mr Tafea or probably all three at once. We start off with 4-5 laps then move on to Shuttle Relay which is the most tiring ESPECIALLY when you just finished 5 laps around our court which HUGE. My favorite part of the everyday morning fitness is the game we have after the shuttles and laps. We usually play Shot (it’s kind of like dodgeball but better by miles) with room 8 but sometimes we’d play bull rush or other games. I think fitness is the only thing that encourages me to come to school because I absolutely love sports and stuff even though I’m extremely bad at most sports. Back to Shot, Room 9 is way better than room 8 in many different ways like running, skills and jumping (this is all mostly a lie).

The Mr Nancy Show

The Mr Nancy Show (which was held in the hall of my school Wesley Intermediate) was just AMAZING, FLAWLESS, absolutely INSPIRING for all theatre actors and actresses all around. The show was mainly about this Spider, God, Person thingy named Nancy and another God, Warrior, Viking thing named Loki. I can’t remember the entire story (even though they JUST performed) but I think they had this huge battle with Vikings and Animals of the forest.. Eh. though I do remember that at the end they both talked out their problems I guess and became.. Friends? Well the story was just really amazing and majestic but sadly, it was their last. Yup Felix, Jono and a South African dude with radical hair had their last show at OUR school. how convenient? I would have taken a selfie with them but I has no phone :(. I bet I loved their show more than 1,000,000,000 (a Billion) other students did they were THAT good..

Readtheory.com Experience

Reatheory.com was a great reading experience for me. The first 10 warm up questions were a little difficult (personally) that I thought they were the REAL questions. So when our teacher Mr he meantTafea told us that when we reached question 5, to blog about Readtheory.com I thought he meant question 5 on the warn up’s until I saw my friend Teaea finish and go on 5 other questions.. Which were… Extremely hard for me. I got 3 out of 5 correct… Yay...

Yo listen up here’s a story about a boy who lives in a boring world, and all day and all night and everything he does is just boring, inside and outside. His house is so boring with a boring little window and a boring tv, and everything is boring for him and himself and everybody around because he ain’t got nobody to listen to. I’M BORING OH YEAAAHH I AM, OH YEAAH YEAAH YEAAH I AM I’M VERY BORING!! BORING, OH YEA I AM, I AM VERY BORING OH YES I AMMM!!!

Alrighty ENOUGH WITH THE DRAMA! Now, lets talk more about my Saturday. My Saturday was just a plain old day in the life of.. well, me. I basically spent half my day on my PlayStation vita playing minecraft on my first ever survival world. Gardening watermelons, Potatoes, Wheat and Carrots all day in my lovely minecraft world… Yup.. I’m sooooooo social… Hmm, I don’t know how to be more interesting i mean like, I literally played on my PlayStation vita all day spending 15-20hrs just playing in a 3D cube made game. Huh.. Thought this story would be longer, eh at least I can go back to sleep now see ya.
